I Go Potty!

Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to give you all a little update on our little bundle of love named Wednesday. She is speaking a lot more clearly these days. Some of her favorite things to say are: "This is too hard!", "I really really bursty" (meaning thirsty), and my favorite is "I WANT!!!" Wednesday is not actually potty trained just yet but I have been sitting her on the potty chair regularly just so she gets used to sitting on it. So today right before bath time I sat her on the potty chair while I got the bath all ready for her. Once I was ready for her to get into the tub I said "okay Wednesday it's time to get off the potty and into the tub." And she raises her hand to me and says "Wait, wait!" And she sat there concentrating and all of a sudden I could hear soft trickling. She totally peed in the toilet for the first time! I gave her lots of praise and she just puffed right up with pride for what she had done. I am so excited to start this little adventure with her. We love you all a ton!

Long Day

So I have to tell you how our day went last Friday (the same day the pics below were taken). So early in the morning we headed off to El Cajon to have lunch with Jill (my cousin). It's a two and a half hour drive there from where we live so we left early. We met Jill at a little Mexican restaurant in El Cajon. It was so much fun seeing her again, the last time I saw her was at my wedding, six whole years ago! After lunch we went to the mall across the street. We ate some candy and walked around for an hour or so. Shortly after Jill left we decided to head out too. After only a half an hour of driving back home Wednesday started puking, and I mean A LOT! She was crying because she didn't know what the heck was happening. Meanwhile Lee and I were in the front seat trying not to throw-up from the smell. So we pulled off at some shopping Outlet. We didn't have a lot to work with to clean the mess up. So Lee took Wednesday to a children clothing store and bought her some clean clothes since we forgot a change of clothes for her. And I was able to clean her car seat off with a water bottle and a towel. After we got back on the road 30 minutes later Wednesday was looking pale again. So we stopped at this park and realized it overlooked the beach. It was the nicest park we had ever seen. So our trip that was only supposed to last til about 4 or 5 pm ended up being an entire day! We didn't get home until almost 9 pm. Even though it was a long day we had so much fun together.

P.S We figured out that Wednesday was just car sick because after we were out of the car she was fine.
